As tensions escalate between Pakistan and India, national cricket team captain Muhammad Rizwan has expressed solidarity with the nation, urging unity, courage, and faith in the face of external threats.

In a message posted on social media platform X, Rizwan cited Islamic teachings on restraint, stating, “We do not initiate war, but if it is imposed on us, we do not retreat.” He highlighted Pakistan’s resilience through years of conflict, describing it as a nation “soaked with the blood of martyrs.”

Rizwan emphasized the strength of the Pakistani people, saying, “Every war forced upon us only unites, awakens, and strengthens us,” and concluded with a powerful call to stand firm against injustice: “We must have courage. We must have faith. We will neither commit oppression nor tolerate it.”
