ISLAMABAD (RNN TV) — PTI MNA Sher Afzal Marwat has lashed out at the party leadership, warning that internal rifts could doom the planned August 14 protest.
Speaking to the media, Marwat said the movement would fail unless the leadership contacted him directly and removed Aleema Khan from political decision-making. He accused the leadership of making “bad decisions with bad intentions” and questioned Salman Akram’s role as Secretary General.
“Imran Khan is in jail but remains the most popular leader. The lack of effective leadership has badly hurt the party,” Marwat said.
In response, PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai defended the party’s protest strategy, saying a series of rallies and assemblies were planned nationwide as part of a broader campaign.
