Lahore (RNN TV) — Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamyana, presided over a performance review meeting of the City and Cantt Divisions to assess the operational efficiency and progress of various policing units.

Addressing the meeting, CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana reaffirmed his commitment to zero tolerance against corruption, warning that strict departmental action would be taken against any officer found misusing authority.

He directed officers to take coordinated and effective measures to eliminate social crimes, emphasizing that special strategies must be adopted to curb burglary, robbery, motorcycle theft, and street snatching incidents.

Kamyana also ordered strict legal action against one-wheeling, aerial firing, and kite flying, noting that such offenses pose serious risks to public safety.

He instructed all divisions to ensure that wanted and absconding suspects are apprehended swiftly, and that the Investigation Wing promptly submits case challans to courts. He further stressed the need to reduce pending cases and improve the quality of investigations.

Highlighting the importance of citizen facilitation, CCPO Kamyana directed police officers not to make complainants wait unnecessarily in their offices, adding that providing justice to citizens is the foremost duty of the police.

The meeting was attended by DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran, SSP (Investigation) Muhammad Naveed, along with SPs, ASPs, Circle Officers, SHOs, and Investigation In-Charges of the City and Cantt Divisions.

The CCPO concluded the session by urging all officers to demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and commitment to maintain law and order in Lahore.
