Aleema Khan, sister Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has publicly appealed to the country’s so-called “unseen forces” for a “give and take” arrangement to negotiate her brother’s release. Speaking to the media in Islamabad on Tuesday, she urged these hidden powers to come forward and engage in direct dialogue.
Aleema claimed that judges handling Imran Khan’s cases are under pressure, alleging irregularities such as the mysterious removal of his petitions from court cause lists. She accused these forces of threatening judges and parliamentarians, demanding transparency about their grievances against Imran Khan.
“I want to say to these unseen forces — whatever you are — don’t hide. Come forward. Tell us what he has done wrong,” Aleema said. She emphasized that Imran remains resolute, stating, “Even if I remain in prison forever, I will not submit to tyrants.”
She stressed that Imran Khan stands for democracy and poses no threat to Pakistan, questioning why there is fear around his potential release.
PTI Loyalist Gandapur Condemns Government, Vows to Continue Movement
Outside the Islamabad High Court, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur launched a fierce attack on the federal government, judiciary, and political rivals. He condemned the 26th Constitutional Amendment, calling it “unacceptable” and promised to reject it.
Gandapur alleged rigging in the February 8 general elections and accused “traitors” of conspiring to steal the vote. He announced the next hearing of Imran Khan’s case is set for June 5, promising to expose manipulation of Pakistani laws.
Reaffirming his support for Imran Khan, Gandapur said, “We were, are, and will remain with the PTI founder. He is fighting for us and our children.” He defended Imran as innocent, highlighting the KP government’s success under his leadership and questioning the lack of progress in Sindh.
Gandapur called on the federal government to respect democratic protests and criticized those elected through alleged fraudulent means, urging them to be ashamed.
