
LAHORE (RNN TV) — Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has cancelled his upcoming concerts in India, citing escalating political tensions between the two countries.
This was revealed by senior journalist Naeem Hanif during an exclusive podcast on RNN TV, hosted by Bushra Khan, where Hanif discussed the impact of the Pahalgam incident on cultural exchanges.
Atif Aslam, known for his soulful renditions in Bollywood, had previously faced similar challenges. In 2015, his concert in Pune was cancelled following threats from the Shiv Sena, a right-wing political party. More recently, in 2016, his scheduled performance in Gurgaon was called off due to opposition from Hindu groups and the prevailing political climate
