ISLAMABAD (RNN TV) — Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq held an extensive meeting on Sunday to discuss key issues and the current political situation in the region.
The two leaders strongly condemned India’s war hysteria following the Pahalgam incident and expressed grave concerns over the ongoing suppression of political and human rights in Kashmir. They highlighted issues such as the recent surge in youth arrests, nighttime raids, illegal property seizures, and house demolitions by Indian occupation forces.
Labeling these actions as severe violations of human rights, they called on the international community to intervene and help end the violence in the region.
The leaders reiterated their commitment to exposing the atrocities against Kashmiris and pledged to bring the issue to global attention. They also expressed satisfaction with the progress made in promoting good governance in Azad Kashmir and agreed to fast-track development projects to foster prosperity and ensure that the benefits reach the general public.
