Child star Ahmad Shah’s younger brother Umer passes away

KARACHI (Web Desk) — Umer Shah, the younger brother of social media sensation Ahmad Shah, passed away in the early hours of Monday, the family confirmed in a heart-wrenching post on social media.

Umer, who frequently appeared alongside Ahmad in videos and television shows, had also gained popularity among audiences for his charming presence and expressions.

“This is to inform the little shining star of our family, Umer Shah has returned to Allah Almighty,” Ahmad wrote in a post on Instagram. “I request everyone to remember him and our family in your prayers.”

According to anchor Waseem Badami, doctors confirmed that the child star suffered a fatal cardiac arrest after vomiting entered his lungs. The incident reportedly took place around the time of Fajr prayers.

The Shah brothers rose to fame through the Ramadan transmission of a private television channel, with Ahmad becoming a household name after his viral “Peeche dekho” video. Umer soon became a familiar face, endearing himself to viewers with his on-screen chemistry with his elder brother.

The news of Umer’s untimely death triggered an outpouring of grief across social media. Renowned actor Adnan Siddiqui, in a heartfelt Instagram post, said: “I am shattered to hear about the passing of little Umer Shah. He was a beam of light, joy, and innocence. It feels impossible that he’s no longer with us. My prayers are with Ahmad Shah and the entire family. May Allah grant Umer the highest place in Jannah.”

Former Pakistan cricket captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and actor Areeba Habib also shared condolences on their Instagram stories, posting pictures of the late child star.

Fellow child star Muhammad Shiraz, of Shiraz Vlogs, expressed sorrow over the loss, writing: “Some friends are like family, and losing you feels like losing a part of myself. May Allah grant you peace and the highest place in Jannah.”

The tragic demise of Umer Shah has left fans, celebrities, and well-wishers across the country mourning the loss of a young star whose innocence and smile had captured countless hearts.
