Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited Punjab University Lahore on Thursday, where he held a special interactive session with students and faculty members.

Upon arrival, the DG ISPR was warmly welcomed by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali, faculty, and students. During the visit, he met university leadership and later engaged in a candid discussion with students, addressing their questions directly.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Ali expressed gratitude for the visit, noting that both faculty and students of Punjab University stand firmly alongside the Pakistan Army in defending the country.

Students praised the DG ISPR’s comprehensive and thoughtful answers, calling them both encouraging and reassuring. They said the session helped clear long-standing doubts created by negative propaganda against the armed forces.

“Today’s direct interaction gave us true insight into the dangers of disinformation and fake news,” one student remarked.

Students further suggested that such sessions should be held regularly to strengthen the bond between youth and the armed forces, and to bridge gaps caused by misinformation.
