Fake News israel Iran

LAHORE (RNN TV Exclusive) — Following Israeli aggression against Iran, a coordinated and deliberate disinformation campaign was launched by Hindutva elements and Zionist networks targeting Pakistan, according to credible sources.

Social media platforms have become the primary battleground for this aggressive anti-Pakistan fake news campaign, sources revealed.

Indian social media troll and bot accounts are reportedly at the forefront of this well-organized propaganda effort against Pakistan.

The fake news and propaganda being spread in the context of the Iran-Israel conflict falsely allege that Pakistan provided Iran with intelligence support, aerial cover, and even nuclear weapons for a strike on Israel.

Another baseless claim includes the deployment of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets near the Pak-Iran border in anticipation of potential Iranian missile strikes, according to sources.

This anti-Pakistan disinformation drive reportedly involves bot networks, fake social media accounts, and even blue-tick verified handles spreading fabricated news, according to intelligence sources.

Old videos and AI-generated fake clips have also been circulated by networks linked to Indian intelligence agency RAW, sources added.

Some examples of such disinformation shared on the social platform X include:

  • BRICS News (X account): “According to Pakistan, it provided intelligence support to Iran against Israeli attacks.”

  • Islamic Republic of Iran (X account): “Pakistan has informed the U.S. that in response to an Israeli nuclear strike on Iran, it will retaliate with a nuclear strike on Israel.”

  • Nepal Correspondence: “PAF has deployed fighter jets near the Iran-Pakistan border amid fears of an Iranian missile attack.”

  • X accounts Sonia Deshwal, SHooMit, no comments, and Mustafa: “Israeli PM Netanyahu has declared an attack on Pakistan over its alleged supply of nuclear weapons to Iran.”

  • X accounts @RKM and rkmtimes: “Pakistan provided Iran with intelligence on Israeli military targets.”

All of these narratives are completely false and baseless, Pakistani officials clarified.

The objective behind this anti-Pakistan fake news campaign is to provoke a larger regional conflict and to build a hostile narrative against Islamic countries, especially Pakistan.

These fabricated stories aim to tarnish Pakistan’s global reputation and falsely portray it as a part of an anti-Israel alliance.

Pakistan has repeatedly maintained that it seeks a peaceful resolution to the Middle East crisis and is not aligned militarily with any party involved in the conflict.

While Pakistan has condemned the Israeli attack on Iran, it has categorically rejected all propaganda alleging the supply of weapons or intelligence to either party.

Propagandists attempted to portray Pakistan as simultaneously opposed to both Israel and Iran, a contradictory and unprofessional narrative that reflects the mindset commonly associated with India, a long-standing adversary of Pakistan.

During past conflicts—especially the recent Pakistan-India tensions—India similarly resorted to laughable disinformation campaigns, only to face global embarrassment and exposure.
