
LAHORE (RNN TV) — The federal government, in its latest fortnightly review, announced a reduction of Rs7.54 per litre in the price of petrol, while increasing the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.48 per litre. The new prices came into effect Thursday night.
According to a press release issued by the Finance Division, the revised price of petrol has been set at Rs264.61 per litre, and high-speed diesel will now cost Rs285.83 per litre.
The Finance Division stated that the adjustments were made after reviewing current trends in the international oil market. The decision was based on recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) and relevant ministries.
