(Web Desk) — Indian television channel ABP News was temporarily disrupted after hackers reportedly took control of its transmission, airing pro-Pakistan slogans in place of its regular programming, according to broadcast monitoring reports.

During the breach, scheduled content was replaced with material referencing the Pakistan Army. The altered broadcast also featured excerpts from a speech by Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir.

The disruption was brief, and normal transmission was later restored.

ABP News maintains a significant digital presence, with approximately 50 million subscribers on YouTube. The channel has uploaded more than 544,000 videos and has accumulated over 25 billion total views. On X (formerly Twitter), the network has around two million followers.

Further details regarding the source of the cyber intrusion or the extent of the breach have not yet been officially disclosed.
