
Pakistan and India ongoing Conflict urges to install emergency sirens across several high-risk districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to strengthen early warning systems against possible aerial threats.
According to an official document from the Directorate of Civil Defence KP, the sirens are being placed to improve alert coverage and provide timely warnings to the public in case of any threat from the air.
The advisory instructs residents to take shelter immediately upon hearing the sirens and to avoid going outdoors. It also emphasizes protecting vulnerable groups such as children, women, and the elderly during such emergencies.
Local administrations across the designated districts have been directed to ensure the prompt setup and ongoing maintenance of the sirens.
The targeted districts include Peshawar, Abbottabad, Mardan, Kohat, Swat, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Malakand, Lower Dir, Lower Chitral, Kurram, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Bajaur, Haripur, Mansehra, Upper Dir, Shangla, Buner, Lakki Marwat, Khyber, North Waziristan, South Waziristan, Battagram, Tank, and Orakzai.
