Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed and her husband, Professor Atiq, were arrested by Lahore police near Kot Lakhpat Jail.
The couple was detained by a heavy police presence, with multiple vehicles involved in the operation. They were subsequently taken to an undisclosed location for further processing.
The arrest took place after Sanam Javed attended a court hearing related to the May 9 incidents, which have led to ongoing legal actions against several PTI members. Authorities have not yet disclosed the specific charges against the couple.
