LAHORE (RNN TV) — Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed health authorities to ensure free and complete medical treatment for Pakistani patients who returned from India without completing their procedures.
According to official sources, several Pakistani patients — including those suffering from serious conditions such as liver and kidney failure — were undergoing treatment in India but had to return due to various reasons, leaving their procedures incomplete.
CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized that these patients would not be left to suffer alone and assured that the Punjab government would take full responsibility for their treatment.
She instructed the provincial health department to immediately collect data on all such patients and provide them with comprehensive and quality care at government expense. She reaffirmed that the Punjab government would extend all possible support on humanitarian grounds to ensure the well-being of the patients and their families.
