Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed sorrow on Thursday over the deadly Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, extending his condolences to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India.

In a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), Nawaz said he was deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the crash. “My heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this tragic accident,” he wrote.

He added that the tragedy serves as a reminder of shared human values that go beyond national boundaries.

“This heartbreaking incident goes beyond borders and speaks to our common humanity,” Nawaz said.

Meanwhile, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has also offered condolences on Air India crash tragedy.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic crash of AirIndia Flight AI171 near Ahmedabad today,” Asif said.
The defence minister said, “Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families and loved ones of all aboard. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.”
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has also expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the tragic loss of 242 passengers in an Indian plane crash.She extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families, saying that she shares in their grief during this difficult time.
