ISLAMABAD (RNN TV) – The Ministry of Religious Affairs has launched the second phase of Hajj flights, with Pakistani pilgrims now departing for Jeddah from airports across the country.

Starting today, pilgrims arriving at Jeddah Airport will be transported directly to Makkah to begin their Hajj rituals. On the first day of this phase, two flights carrying 633 pilgrims are scheduled to depart for Jeddah.

This phase follows the successful completion of the first phase, during which 145 flights transported 31,044 Pakistani pilgrims to Madinah. On the final day of phase one alone, 13 flights carried 2,399 pilgrims to the holy city.

The Hajj operation continues to run smoothly as thousands of Pakistanis make their spiritual journey to Saudi Arabia.
