ISLAMABAD (RNN TV) — The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a weather advisory for April 22-27, 2025, predicting hot and dry weather across most regions of Pakistan.

The provinces of Balochistan and Sindh are expected to experience dry and very hot conditions throughout the week, with temperatures significantly above normal. This raises concerns about potential heat-related health risks, especially for vulnerable groups.

Hot weather is also forecast for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. However, certain areas in these regions, including districts in KP such as Abbottabad, Bannu, and Peshawar, along with parts of GB and AJ&K, may see cloudy skies and isolated rainfall during the advisory period.

The NDMA is closely monitoring the situation through its National Emergency Operation Centre and working with relevant stakeholders. Citizens are advised to stay informed by downloading the Pak NDMA Disaster Alert App and following NDMA’s official social media channels for timely updates and safety tips.
