In his address, the Prime Minister highlighted that more than 60% of Pakistan’s population is youth, who are now gaining proficiency in modern technologies and professional training. “Our youth are intelligent, capable, and full of untapped potential,” he remarked, adding that Pakistan’s future depends on innovation, research, and development.
Economic Milestones and Policy Reforms

Inflation has decreased significantly, from 38% to 1.5%.
-
The policy rate has been reduced from 22.5% to 12%.

Electricity prices have been lowered to support industrial growth and domestic affordability.
“These steps are part of our long-term strategy to create a favorable investment climate,” he said. “We invite both local and international partners to engage in joint ventures, particularly in the minerals and mining sector.”
Showcasing Pakistan’s Resources and Innovation
The exhibition featured numerous stalls displaying pharmaceuticals, agricultural machinery, gems, jewelry, and precious stones. PM Shehbaz described the showcase as a “magnificent display” of the country’s natural and industrial wealth. He also highlighted Pakistan’s strong business ties with countries such as China, those in Africa, Europe, and the United States.
“Pakistan, especially regions like Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is rich in natural resources. This is the right time to tap into these resources and form partnerships that lead us to shared prosperity,” he said.
