
ISLAMABAD (RNN TV) — Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has returned to Pakistan after completing a one-day official visit to Qatar.
During his stay in Doha, the Prime Minister held a meeting with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. In the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed solidarity with the Qatari leadership and people in light of Israel’s unjustified aggression against Doha, which he said was a blatant violation of international law.
The Prime Minister highlighted the deep-rooted, historic, and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar, founded on shared faith and values. He emphasized that Pakistan has always stood by Qatar in difficult times and will continue to do so. The leaders also held consultations on Israel’s unprovoked attacks on various countries in the region and discussed efforts for the establishment of lasting peace in the Middle East.
Prime Minister Sharif was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi as part of the Pakistani delegation.
