PM Shehbaz Mourns Death of Former Sindh Governor Kamal Azfar, Hails His Political Legacy

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over the passing of senior politician and former Sindh governor Kamal Azfar.

In a statement, the prime minister extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying for strength and patience for them in this difficult time. “May Allah grant Kamal Azfar eternal peace and elevate his ranks in the hereafter,” he said.

Recalling Azfar’s services, PM Shehbaz said Pakistan had lost a seasoned statesman and a wise political figure. “Kamal Azfar’s contributions to politics and public service will always be remembered,” the prime minister added.

Azfar, a prominent figure in Pakistan’s political and legal circles, held several key positions, including governor of Sindh and federal law minister.
