ISLAMABAD (RNN TV) — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by top civil and military leadership, visited the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters for a detailed security briefing amid escalating tensions along Pakistan’s eastern border.
The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, and the heads of Pakistan’s armed forces. Officials were briefed on regional security challenges, hybrid warfare, terrorist threats, and India’s increasingly provocative posture.
The briefing followed a National Assembly session where lawmakers condemned India’s actions after the Pahalgam incident and vowed a united response to any aggression.
Information Minister Attaullah Tarar told the Assembly that Pakistan countered India’s digital propaganda by strategically broadcasting patriotic content on Indian YouTube channels. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm stance on Kashmir and revealed evidence of Indian involvement in state-sponsored terrorism, including targeted killings of Sikhs.
Tarar reiterated Pakistan’s resolve: “We are not aggressors, but any misadventure will be met with a response remembered for generations.”
