LAHORE (RNN TV) — Prime Minister’s Adviser on Inter-Provincial Coordination, Rana Sanaullah, held another telephonic conversation with Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Monday to address the ongoing concerns surrounding inter-provincial water distribution.
During the discussion, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a constructive and cooperative dialogue to resolve the water issue that has sparked concern in Sindh and other provinces. They stressed the importance of resolving the matter amicably, in line with the principles of national unity and federal harmony.
Rana Sanaullah assured that the water rights of all provinces would be fully protected. “Under the Water Apportionment Accord, no province’s water can be diverted to another, and no such transfer is taking place,” he clarified.
He further emphasized that water distribution is an administrative and technical matter that should be addressed through appropriate institutional channels. “There’s no space for politicization here. Every province will receive its fair share as per the agreed principles,” he added.
