PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Apologizes to Journalist Tayyab Baloch

ISLAMABAD (RNN TV) — PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has apologized to journalist Tayyab Baloch on behalf of the party after an incident of violence against him by PTI workers.

Barrister Gohar condemned the episode, stating that such actions are not the party’s policy. He embraced Tayyab Baloch and MPA Faisal Hakeem in an attempt to reconcile.

During his conversation with Barrister Gohar, Tayyab Baloch revealed that he had been receiving serious threats and had repeatedly approached PTI leader Aleema Khan to intervene. “I kept asking her to condemn the threats and say something so that this cycle would stop,” Baloch said.

He clarified that allegations accusing him of misbehaving with Aleema Khan were baseless. “If I had misbehaved, it would have been on record because cameras were there. Naeem Panjotha’s words were recorded on camera. Propaganda was spread that I abused Aleema Sahiba. If I had, it would have appeared in some video,” he explained.

Responding, Barrister Gohar said: “What happened with you was unfortunate.”

However, Tayyab Baloch stressed that while Barrister Gohar’s apology was welcome, accountability was still necessary. “It is good that Barrister Gohar apologized, but those in whose presence the violence took place, and those who instigated it, should also apologize. Action should be taken against those responsible for the trolling, and against the workers who committed violence,” he demanded.
