RAWALPINDI (Naeem Hanif) —  The security  forces issued a stern warning, stating that there would be no safe haven, no leniency and no escape for militants involved in violence in Balochistan, as security forces intensify operations against the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and its alleged external backers.

In a strongly worded statement, security forces said the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) was not a local or indigenous movement but an externally sponsored terrorist outfit allegedly operating under the patronage of India’s intelligence agency, RAW, with the explicit aim of weakening Pakistan from within, challenging the writ of the state and terrorising civilians.

The statement said intelligence assessments had conclusively linked the group’s training camps, weapons supply, funding streams and operational direction to foreign sources. “These militants do not represent the Baloch people. They are instruments of a hostile agenda against Pakistan,” it said.

Declaring an end to any ambiguity, the security forces said the state had adopted a clear and uncompromising policy. “There will be no dialogue with armed groups, no reconciliation under the shadow of weapons, and no tolerance for those who choose violence. Anyone who raises arms against the state will be dealt with decisively,” the statement said.

According to the statement, the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and intelligence agencies are conducting sustained intelligence-based and kinetic operations across Balochistan. These efforts are aimed at dismantling militant infrastructure, including safe houses, facilitators, logistical networks and propaganda cells.

“Every network is under watch. Every facilitator is being identified. There will be no safe space for terrorists or their enablers anywhere,” the statement said, adding that operations would continue until all threats were neutralised.

Security forces also cautioned against disinformation campaigns, stating that social media propaganda, fabricated narratives and foreign backing would not shield militants from accountability.

Reiterating the state’s position, the statement said terrorism, its facilitators and its sponsors would be treated alike and confronted without distinction. “The nation stands firmly with its security institutions, and any attempt to destabilise Balochistan will be crushed,” it said.

Security operations remain ongoing, with authorities maintaining heightened vigilance across sensitive districts of the province

Over 110 militants killed as security forces foil coordinated attacks across Balochistan

The security situation across several districts of Balochistan has stabilised following a series of coordinated militant attacks allegedly backed by India, security sources said on Friday, adding that large-scale clearance and follow-up operations were continuing in affected areas.

According to the sources, security forces and law enforcement agencies launched swift and coordinated counter-terrorism operations after militants targeted multiple locations across the province on January 31. The attacks were reported in Pasni, Kharaan, Noshki, Quetta, Panjgur, Dalbandin, Kech and Mastung.

Security officials said the militants attempted to challenge the writ of the state but were repelled through timely action. As a result of the operations, more than 110 militants were killed, while several others were injured or arrested. The figures are provisional, officials added, as search and clearance operations are still under way in some areas.

Sources said the militants were operating on the directions of India’s intelligence agency, RAW, and were part of what officials described as “Fitna al-Hindustan”, a network allegedly involved in fomenting unrest in Balochistan. The claim could not be independently verified.

“The terrorists miscalculated the state’s response,” a senior security official said. “Pakistan is not a weak state, and any attempt to destabilise Balochistan will be met with a decisive and coordinated response.”
