LAHORE (RNN TV) — Former federal minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said he is currently staying away from politics but will return when the right time comes.
Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court, the Awami Muslim League chief said timing is very important in politics. “I know when to return, and that time will come,” he said.
He added that his break from politics won’t last long. “I’ve been a minister 17 times. I understand timing, and I believe Pakistan’s situation will get better,” he stated.
Earlier, Sheikh Rashid appeared briefly at the anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi for a hearing related to the GHQ attack case. After marking his attendance, he was allowed to leave due to another scheduled case at the Supreme Court.
