Famous Pakistani fashion designer Maria B is facing criticism after Turkish content creator Turkan Atay publicly accused her of failing to provide full payment for a brand photoshoot conducted in Turkey earlier this year.

Taking to Instagram, Atay detailed her involvement in the campaign, san fees and production expenses.

Turkish influencer Atay has publicly called out Pakistani designer Maria B over unpaid dues related to a recent collaboration. Atay stated that she fulfilled all her obligations, including completing the photoshoot and promoting the campaign across her social media platforms. Despite this, she claims she received only a single payment.

According to Atay, Maria B had been clearly informed beforehand that her rates were based on a per-outfit model. However, the designer allegedly later attempted to justify the reduced payment by citing a general industry practice of compensating influencers based on the number of reels produced.

Expressing frustration over the delay, Atay noted that more than three months have passed since the campaign was completed, with no resolution in sight.

This isn’t the first time Maria B has faced backlash in Turkey. In August last year, she was accused of plagiarism following the release of her controversial “Palestine Collection.”
