Veteran actor Paresh Rawal recently opened up about his experience filming the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna, offering a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into working with Bollywood heavyweights Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Rawal highlighted the stark contrast in their acting styles—and it’s got fans talking.
Rawal described Salman Khan as a natural on set, saying, “He was like a breeze—he’d just come in, laugh, and get the scene done. So effortless, so charismatic.” In comparison, he painted Aamir Khan as deeply methodical. “Aamir is incredibly precise, but at times his process felt a little too manufactured,” Rawal said. Still, he emphasized that the results were always outstanding on screen.
Reflecting on the shoot of the 1994 comedy directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Rawal—who played the iconic double role of Ram Gopal Bajaj and his criminal twin Teja—recalled how uniquely enjoyable the filming process was. “Usually, you only realize a comedy is funny in the edit. But with Andaz Apna Apna, we were laughing even while filming. Raj explained every scene so well—it was pure fun,” he shared.
The contrast between the two Khans, as described by Rawal, sheds new light on the dynamic behind one of Bollywood’s most beloved comedies.
