QUETTA (RNN TV) — Pakistani security forces eliminated 18 Indian-sponsored terrorists in three intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted across Balochistan on Wednesday, security sources said.
The first raid in Gaza Band, near Quetta, left 10 militants dead after heavy crossfire, while two soldiers were injured. Separate operations in Zhob and Sherani districts accounted for eight more militant deaths. Arms and ammunition were seized from the hideouts.
The killed terrorists were said to be involved in multiple attacks in the province.
A day earlier, forces foiled a suicide strike in Quetta linked to the Indian proxy group “Fitna al-Hindustan,” killing five assailants, including the bomber. Two Frontier Corps personnel were wounded in that attack.
Officials stressed that operations against Indian-backed networks will continue until terrorism is eradicated from the region.
