
LAHORE (RNN TV) — The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) has announced plans to send female nursing staff to Malaysia, according to an official statement on Saturday.
During a seminar held in Karachi earlier this year, it was highlighted that while nurses play a vital role in enhancing healthcare services, they are often underpaid and overburdened in Pakistan.
To be eligible, nurses must meet certain qualifications, including a minimum of five years’ experience in specific healthcare settings. The positions will cover areas such as coronary care, medical/surgical units, ICU, paediatric ICU, neonatal ICU, and cardiac units.
Eligibility criteria include holding a diploma in general nursing with post-basic specialization, over five years of ICU experience, and being no older than 45 years of age.
The application deadline is April 11, 2025.
Candidates must bring the following documents to the interview: an updated resume, coloured photographs, educational and nursing training certificates, academic transcripts, a registration certificate, a current practicing licence, a birth certificate, an international passport (if available), a marriage certificate, a testimonial from a recent employer (if available), three months’ pay slips (if available), and a bank challan of Rs500.
