Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated the “Apni Zameen Apna Ghar” program, aimed at providing free 3-marla residential plots to the homeless and underprivileged in the province.

The program, part of her “Housing for All” vision, is being implemented by the Punjab Housing & Town Planning Agency, with administrative support from the Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Department (HUD&PHED).

In the first phase, free plots will be distributed in Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Khushab, Layyah, Lodhran, Mandi Baha-ud-Din, Okara, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, Sargodha, and Vehari districts. The program will expand to other regions in subsequent phases.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a permanent resident of Punjab (as per CNIC).

  • Application allowed only within the applicant’s home district.

  • Applicant, spouse, or dependent children should not own any property in Pakistan.

  • Clean criminal record required.

  • Not a defaulter of any bank or financial institution.

  • All provided information must be accurate; false claims will lead to disqualification.
