
LAHORE (Web Desk) — Gold prices in both local and international markets saw a sharp decline for the second consecutive session on Monday.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs2,500 per tola, bringing it down to Rs353,000. The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs2,143, settling at Rs302,640.
On the international front, the price of gold experienced a significant drop as well, falling by $25 per ounce to reach $3,310.
Silver prices in Pakistan also mirrored this downward trend. The price of 24-karat silver fell by Rs30 per tola, now priced at Rs3,841, while the 10-gram rate slipped to Rs3,293.
This marked back-to-back sessions of declines, signaling a notable shift in both local and global bullion markets.
