PUJ Naeem Hanif Punjab Union of Journalists

LAHORE (RNN TV) — Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Sunday felicitated the newly elected office-bearers of the Punjab Union of Journalists (PUJ), expressing hope that the new leadership would continue advocating for journalists’ rights and welfare.

In a congratulatory message, the governor extended his best wishes to Naeem Hanif, elected as PUJ president, and Qamar-uz-Zaman Bhatti, elected as general secretary. He also congratulated other members of the newly elected body, including Khurram Pasha (senior vice president), Sher Ali Khalti (vice president), Talal Ishtiaq (joint secretary), and Khalid Rashid.

The governor praised the role of the PUJ, noting that the organisation had consistently remained at the forefront in addressing the challenges faced by the journalist community and had provided effective representation during difficult times.

He expressed confidence that the newly elected leadership would play a constructive and effective role in safeguarding the rights of journalists and promoting professional standards within the media fraternity.
