Vehari / Pakpattan / Okara (RNN TV) — In a major defensive success, Pakistani security forces have shot down six Israeli-made Indian drones in different regions of Punjab, including Vehari, Pakpattan, and Okara, according to security sources.
Out of the total drones, one was brought down in Vehari, another in Pakpattan, while four were destroyed in Okara. This latest action brings the total number of enemy drones destroyed so far to 35, security officials confirmed.Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) stated that all hostile drones were being continuously monitored via radar systems. “Whenever a drone enters our airspace, it is immediately detected and tracked on radar,” DG ISPR said.
He said that Pakistan’s air defense system has the capability to track and neutralize even small drones. “Our system is equipped to handle such threats, even in areas where civilian populations and commercial flights are present. There is a well-defined operational procedure in place for such scenarios,” he added.
Defense experts have praised the country’s air defense preparedness, stating that the consistent failure of enemy drone missions is evidence of the strength of Pakistan’s defensive systems. The precise tracking of Harop drones highlights the robustness and efficiency of Pakistan’s air and defense infrastructure.
