
LAHORE (RNN TV) — The Unique Group of Institutions Bahria Town Campus held its annual prize distribution ceremony at the Faisal Auditorium.
The event was presided over by Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan Khurram, while Member of the National Assembly Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman attended as chief guest.
The ceremony, organised under the supervision of Project Director Prof Mulazim Hussain, was also attended by TV artist Ali Tahir, singer Tariq Tafu, Rubina Jamal and Nabeela Intisar, among others. Students presented various performances during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Nauman said children were the architects of the future and their proper upbringing was essential for building a healthy society. He said education played a key role not only in guidance but also in transferring values and traditions to future generations. He added that the government was taking steps to promote educational activities, including the distribution of laptops among students.
Prof Khurram said character building of students was among the primary responsibilities of teachers and was vital for ensuring a bright future for the country. He also emphasised the role of parents in the upbringing of children.
Awards were presented to teachers and staff on completion of 10 years of the Bahria Town Campus, while shields and certificates were distributed among high-achieving students. A large number of teachers, parents and students attended the ceremony.
