Khuzdar (RNN TV) — In a tragic and targeted terrorist attack, five individuals—including three schoolchildren and two adults—were martyred on Wednesday when a school bus was bombed in Khuzdar, Balochistan. Several other children sustained injuries in the blast, which struck the vehicle while it was transporting students.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the attack was orchestrated by proxies allegedly backed by the Indian state. The ISPR condemned the bombing as a “cowardly and heinous act” aimed at soft targets, including innocent children.
“This brutal attack reflects the growing desperation of Indian-sponsored terror networks, particularly after their repeated failures in direct confrontations and counter-terror operations,” the military’s media wing said. “Unable to gain ground through conventional means, these proxies are now being used to instill fear and chaos in regions such as Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”
The ISPR further asserted that the attack was part of a broader strategy to destabilize Pakistan and undermine its internal security through acts of terrorism against civilians. It added that such tactics demonstrate a clear disregard for human rights and international norms.
“The planners, facilitators, and perpetrators of this barbaric attack will be relentlessly pursued and brought to justice,” the statement said, vowing that Pakistan’s armed forces, with the full support of the nation, remain committed to eradicating terrorism in all its forms.
This incident has sparked nationwide grief and condemnation, with leaders from across the political spectrum expressing solidarity with the victims and their families.
