ISLAMABAD  (RNN TV) – PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui said on Saturday that his party has no objection if PTI seeks talks with the establishment, but urged the party to adopt a clear agenda and pursue political dialogue through formal channels.

In an interview with SAMAA TV, Siddiqui criticized PTI’s inconsistent approach and reliance on backdoor contacts, stating, “PTI’s hands are bruised from knocking at the establishment’s door. If there’s no response, what do they expect from us?”

He reiterated the military’s stance of staying out of political negotiations and questioned Imran Khan’s reported desire for direct talks with the establishment, calling PTI “disoriented and leaderless.”

Siddiqui stressed that any political resolution should come through consensus among all parties and advised PTI to define a clear path forward. “They must engage politically and stop waiting for shortcuts,” he said.
