PM Shahbaz Sharif's Warm Reception in Tehran, Holds Key Meeting with Iranian President

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived at the historic Saadabad Palace in Tehran on Sunday for a high-level meeting with Iranian President Dr Masoud Pezeshkian.

Upon arrival, the prime minister was warmly received by President Pezeshkian. A smartly turned-out contingent of the Iranian armed forces presented a guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.

Prime Minister Shehbaz was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.

Following the official welcome, both leaders exchanged greetings and held a brief ceremony where members of the respective delegations were introduced.
