In a decisive move, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan has reportedly instructed that his sons, Suleman and Qasim Khan, must remain completely uninvolved in Pakistani politics and should not return to the country, according to senior party sources.
Insiders reveal that Imran Khan communicated these instructions through his legal team, stressing both to his family and party leadership that his sons are to stay out of any political activity or movement within Pakistan. The directive, sources say, is aimed at keeping his family distanced from the turbulent political landscape.
“The PTI founder has made it clear that his sons will not participate in politics or be part of any political campaign in Pakistan,” a senior party member confirmed. “He wishes to keep his family detached from political affairs.”
PTI Chairman Gohar Avoids Speculation
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan declined to comment when questioned about the potential return of Suleman and Qasim to Pakistan.
“There’s no contact or confirmed information about whether Suleman and Qasim are returning,” Gohar told reporters in Islamabad. “The family is currently assessing the matter.”
The statement comes amid ongoing political uncertainty and heightened speculation about the future direction of PTI’s leadership, as Imran Khan remains incarcerated and largely disconnected from the party’s day-to-day operations.
