
Lahore (RNN TV) — Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamyana, chaired a high-level meeting to review the performance of Civil Lines and Model Town Divisions. Senior officers, including DIG (Administration) Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran, and SSP (Investigation) Muhammad Naveed, attended the session along with divisional SPs, ASPs, circle officers, SHOs, and investigation in-charges.
During the meeting, the CCPO issued comprehensive directives to enhance law enforcement efficiency and ensure citizen safety. He instructed the DIG (Operations) to launch a vigorous crackdown against the display of armed gunmen and the emerging Dala culture.
Highlighting the ongoing anti-narcotics campaign, Kamyana emphasized unbiased action against drug dealers and called for backtracking investigations to dismantle entire smuggling networks. He further directed that complaints received at front desks be addressed promptly and that officers maintain direct contact with complainants to ensure the delivery of justice.
To curb street crime, the CCPO ordered effective patrolling in hotspot areas and the full-scale use of the “Hotel Eye” police software for monitoring and surveillance. He also instructed to tighten security at financial institutions and commercial centers, ensuring foolproof arrangements ahead of the upcoming Pakistan–South Africa Test and T20 series.
Bilal Siddique Kamyana reiterated that professional policing, swift response, and proactive crime prevention are key to maintaining peace and public confidence in Lahore.
