The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the relocation of the remaining eight fixtures of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to security concerns following recent drone attacks.
In a statement, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that the matches, initially set to be played in Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Multan, would now be held in the UAE. The decision comes in response to what the PCB called “dangerous and irresponsible” drone strikes by India, which targeted key cities, including Rawalpindi, where one of the venues, the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, is located.
While expressing regret over the decision, Naqvi emphasized that the board had always advocated for the separation of politics and sports. However, he stressed that the safety of players—both domestic and international—was the PCB’s top priority.
Naqvi also assured fans that despite the shift in location, the league would continue without interruption, and the updated schedule and venue details for the UAE leg of PSL 10 would be shared soon.
